CM Shri Chouhan will bring awareness in every district for Ladli Bahna Yojana


Till April 4, 53 lakh 98 thousand 811 applications were received in the state
Dedication and bhoomi-pujan of state’s health institutions from Morena on April 6
CM seeks information about the programmes to be held in the coming fortnight

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that women in a large number are coming forward to join the Ladli Behna Yojana and reap its benefits. Programmes are being organized in each district to increase awareness about this scheme and to increase the number of beneficiary women. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that he endeavours to complete the task of providing benefits to women by creating the necessary environment for the scheme by reaching all the districts. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan today sought information about the preparations for the Ladli Bahna Sammelan and bhoomi pujan-dedication programmes to be held in different districts of the state in the coming fortnight at Samatva Bhawan. Discussions were held through video conferences with the collectors of various districts. It was informed in the meeting that till April 4, 53 lakh 98 thousand 811 applications have been received in the state under Ladli Bahna Yojana.

More and more citizens should visit development exhibition

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that an exhibition of development works should also be organized during the programmes in the districts. The exhibition was also open to the general public. More and more citizens should get information regarding development works. By getting a detailed description of public welfare programmes, the eligible beneficiaries become aware of their benefits. This also fulfills the objective of the implementation of the schemes of the government. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan instructed all collectors to connect the maximum number of people with development exhibitions.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan today inquired about the nature of the programmes being organized in Morena, Ratlam, Jabalpur, Sidhi, Rehti district Sehore, Mhow district Indore, Maheshwar district Khargone, and Gwalior during the period from April 6 to 16 and the preparations made so far. On April 6, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan sought information about the bhoomi-pujan and dedication programmes to be done under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Basic Infrastructure Scheme in Morena. There will also be a Ladli Bahna Sammelan in Morena, in which information will be given to form Ladli Bahna Sena with the participation of 8 to 10 women from each village and entrust them with the task of working for social awareness.

Initiatives to strengthen health infrastructure

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan sought information about the work being done for the construction of health institutions under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Basic Infrastructure Scheme. It was told that 84 buildings will be virtually dedicated from Morena, the cost of which is Rs 82 crore 99 lakh. Along with this, bhoomi-pujan will also be done for 309 health institutions, for which a total amount of Rs 1130 crore 86 lakh has been approved. It may be noted that Prime Minister Shri Modi launched the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure on 25 October 2021. Under this, the health system and infrastructure of the country are being strengthened by the year 2025-26. Continuous work is being done in this direction in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan will also perform a virtual bhoomi-pujan of various construction works done in the health sector in the districts of the state from Morena on April 6.

Additional Chief Secretary Health Shri Mohammad Suleman informed about the preparations made for the programme. In Madhya Pradesh, 196 block public health units are being set up at the block level. Critical care blocks of 50 beds capacity are being set up in 24 district hospitals and 50 beds critical care blocks in 9 medical colleges of the state. Similarly, integrated public health labs will be set up in 35 district hospitals. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan will visit the Ladli Bahna Registration Center in Ratlam on April 8 and get the forms filled by the women applying for the scheme. Along with the Mahila Sammelan, an exhibition of development works will be organized in Ratlam. There will also be a discussion session with the PESA rule mobilizer and Mukhya Mantri Janseva Mitras. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan will participate in bhoomi pujan and Elite Conference of the Advocate General’s Office in Jabalpur on April 9. On April 10, the Chief Minister will participate in Mahila Sammelan, distribution of land rights leaflets, exhibition of works of self-help groups, Yuva Samvad and dedication of development works in Sidhi. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan will honour talented persons in the Rehti Gaurav Divas programme at Rehti in Sehore district on April 10. Several works will be dedicated and bhoomi-pujan will be performed. On April 12, the Chief Minister will participate in the Ladli Bahna Sammelan at Shujalpur in Shajapur district and the Samvad programme of Mukhya Mantri Janseva Mitras.

Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti programme in Indore, Khargone and Gwalior districts

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan will visit the Dr. Ambedkar Memorial premises and offer floral tributes at the Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti programme at Mhow in Indore district. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan will participate in the Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti programme at Maheshwar in Khargone district on the same day. The Chief Minister will participate in the state level programme of Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti on April 16 at the fair ground in Gwalior. Beneficiaries belonging to Scheduled Castes will be benefited in this programme. Beneficiaries benefited in various schemes including Sant Ravidas Self-Employment Scheme will also share their experiences.
